尿路上皮癌とPET検査

要約　尿路上皮癌とは，腎盂，尿管，膀胱，尿道の内腔を覆う移行上皮から発生する癌を総称する。PET検査は，全身を一度に非侵襲的スクリーニングできるという特徴を有し，悪性腫瘍をマネージメントする際に有用な情報を提供し得る。尿路上皮癌に対しては，PET核種の尿排泄，解像度の限界，保険適用外であることなどさまざまな問題がある。しかし留意点を熟知し，適切に利用すれば，PET検査は尿路上皮癌の診断，治療に大きく貢献すると考えられる。
