泌尿器科領域における術後感染対策 Ⅳ―外来小手術および検査・および内視鏡手術

要約　泌尿器科領域の検査として膀胱鏡検査および前立腺針生検を，外来小手術として環状切除術，両側精管結紮術，および体外衝撃波結石破砕術を，そして内視鏡手術として経尿道的前立腺切除術と経尿道的膀胱腫瘍切除術について，それらの術後（検査後）感染症とその予防対策について概説した。体外衝撃波結石破砕術以外の手術では無菌下操作が基本であること，抗菌薬の予防投与は第1/第2世代セフェム系抗菌薬あるいはペニシリン系抗菌薬を術前（検査前）30分より投与し，感染症に対する低リスク群ではこの単回～1日間，糖尿病患者などの高リスク群では1～3日間投与すること，内視鏡手術では可能な限り短期間のFoley留置とすることが術後（検査後）の感染予防に重要である。
