要旨　尿道炎における尿道分泌物は特徴的な臨床所見として，さらに，病原微生物の検出を可能にすることにより診断と治療に役立つ。慢性前立腺炎における前立腺圧出液は，その性状の分析と疾患の分類により治療法の選択に役立つ可能性があり，前立腺の診察とともに重要な泌尿器科的手技である。
