PET検査の臨床的有用性と問題点

要約　PET検査は，陽電子放出核種を利用して人体の機能情報を可視化する画像診断検査であり，泌尿器科領域の腫瘍の診断においても，ブドウ糖類似体のFDGをはじめとして複数の薬剤が活用され，腫瘍病巣の検出やその質的診断に有用性を発揮している。PET/CT装置の開発により，解剖学的位置情報が付加され，臨床的有用性が増しているが，検査結果の正しい評価には検査の原理や投与薬剤の特徴に関する正確な知識が必要である。
