要旨　われわれはさまざまな薬剤を用いて治療を行っているが，副作用として薬剤に起因する排尿障害を起こすものも少なくない。頻度がやや高いと考えられる薬剤の多くは「抗癌剤」「抗精神病薬」「抗うつ薬」「抗パーキンソン病薬」であり，特に精神神経領域の薬剤で高頻度に出現するといわれている。尿失禁の症状として現れるものは過活動性膀胱の関与するもの，排出障害にて残尿を呈し溢流性尿失禁となるものに大別される。その排尿障害のメカニズムは，必ずしも中枢性のみではなく，膀胱や尿道に対する末しょう性作用の場合があり，機序が不明のことも少なくない。本稿では，神経領域でしばしば使われる中枢・末しょう神経系作用薬について述べる。
