要旨　近年の画像診断の進歩により偶発的に見つかる腎腫瘤が増加傾向にある。しかしながら，腎腫瘤の約80％が悪性であり，腎細胞癌では症状が乏しいことから初診時に約30％の症例が転移を伴う。小径腎癌に対する腎温存手術の普及や分子標的薬による進行性腎癌の治療が行われている臨床において，腎腫瘍の診断・治療にあたり心がけていることを挙げたい。
