ポイント

・POP患者は高率にOABを伴うため，女性OAB患者の診断にあたってはPOPの有無を常に念頭に置くべきである．

・POPに伴うOABの原因は主に膀胱出口部閉塞とされるが，膀胱壁伸展や尿道求心路亢進などの他因子も考えられている．

・POP修復術によるOABの改善率は高いが，術前にその治療効果を推測するのは難しい．
