文献概要

質問 : NMIBCの病理診断におけるgrade分類は2段階分類と3段階分類の併記になっていますが，どちらを使うのがよいのでしょうか？　また，特殊なvarient成分が含まれているときにどのような臨床的意義があるでしょうか？

▶ポイント

・尿路上皮癌の異型度分類には2段階方式のWHO／ISUP分類と3段階方式の1973WHO分類の2つがある．米国ではWHO／ISUP分類が，欧州では1973WHO分類が主流である．

・現在ではWHO／ISUP分類に基づく治療方針が一般的であるが，過去のデータの比較には1973WHO分類の併記が必要である．

・筋層非浸潤性膀胱癌において，亜型分類と予後との相関は確立されていない．
