前立腺肥大症患者の実地臨床におけるデュタステリドの服薬継続率

文献概要

　デュタステリドは5α還元酵素を阻害することで前立腺体積を縮小させ，前立腺肥大症における下部尿路症状の機械的閉塞を改善させる．本検討では2009年9月から2011年10月にデュタステリドを新規に開始した96例を対象に，その服薬継続率を調査するとともに，長期服薬が可能であった症例に対する効果について解析した．デュタステリドの服薬継続率は1年で71.8％，3年で37.5％であった．服薬を中止した理由で最多であったのは前立腺肥大症関連手術への移行であり，手術移行症例は服薬継続症例に比べ，服薬開始時点での残尿量が有意に多い結果であった．
