▶ポイント

・前立腺肥大症に対する外科的治療のゴールド・スタンダードはTURPであるが，PVPやHoLEPは，周術期の侵襲性が低く，治療効果にも差を認めない．

・2017年度版の『前立腺肥大症診療ガイドライン』ではPVPが新しく推奨グレードAに追加されている．

・前立腺肥大症患者は高齢であり，心血管リスクの合併などにより抗凝固剤を内服していることが多い．HoLEPやPVPは抗凝固剤内服中でも安全に施行することが可能であり，今後さらに普及していく可能性が高い．
