要旨
無症候性細菌尿に対する治療の要否は,耐性菌を増やさないための抗菌薬適正使用に直結する.無症候性細菌尿を有する患者に対する抗菌薬治療はおおむね不要である.しかし,尿路の手術前,尿路感染症発症の危険因子を有する患者の尿路操作前,妊婦については,有熱性尿路感染症の発症を予防するための尿培養検査によるスクリーニングと,その結果に応じた抗菌薬治療は意味があると考えられる.ただし,絶対的に治療が必要な症例選択のためにはさらなる研究が必要になる.
