・前立腺炎の分類には，Drachらの分類，NIH分類，およびUPOINT（S）がある．

・Drachらの分類，NIH分類は感染症の視点からの分類であり，UPOINT（S）は病因による分類である．

・UPOINT（S）は慢性前立腺炎の治療に適している．
