▶ポイント

・14日以内の短期使用で，銀合金コーティングカテーテルは有意に無症候性細菌尿の頻度が低いとした報告はされているが，症候性尿路感染症における優越性は報告されていない．

・1か月を超える長期使用で，症候性尿路感染症または無症候性細菌尿の頻度を低下させる報告はされていない．

・抗菌薬を含浸させたカテーテルの有用性を示した報告はあるが，本邦では販売されていない．
