カテーテル関連尿路感染症対策

▶ポイント

・長期の尿路カテーテル留置症例に細菌尿は必発であり，無症候であればカテーテル関連無症候性細菌尿として抗菌薬は投与しない．

・発熱などの症状を呈した状態をカテーテル関連尿路感染症（CAUTI）とし，カテーテル交換と細菌学的検査の後に抗菌薬投与を開始する．

・CAUTIの予防策は，不要なカテーテル留置の回避と留置期間の短縮であり，医療者は清潔操作と標準予防策を徹底する．
