以前の常識

・抗がん化学療法後の好中球減少症に対し，顆粒球コロニー刺激因子（G-CSF）製剤を使用するが，予防投薬法は確立していなかった．

・化学療法時の悪心・嘔吐に対する制吐療法として，セロトニン5-HT3受容体拮抗薬やステロイド剤が使用されていた．

・泌尿器癌に対しては，細胞障害性抗がん剤や分子標的治療薬（腎細胞癌）が使用されていた．

現在の常識

・PEG化したG-CSF製剤が開発され，抗がん化学療法時の発熱性好中球減少に対する予防投与が行われている．

・制吐療法剤に，選択的NK1受容体拮抗薬が加わり，セロトニン5HT3受容体拮抗薬，ステロイド剤などと併用されている．

・抗がん薬物療法の主役に免疫チェックポイント阻害薬が加わり，さらに副作用が多様化している．
