高齢者の尿路結石手術に対する適応と注意点

▶ポイント

・尿路結石患者は高齢化が進んでおり，年間罹患率のピークが男性は50歳代，女性は60歳代に推移している．

・高齢者に対する砕石術の治療成績は，非高齢者とおおむね同等である．ただし，高齢者は①女性の比率が高く，②尿路感染率が高く，③心血管系の併存疾患が多いといった特徴がある．

・寝たきり患者の上部尿路結石に対する初期治療はドレナージを要することが多く，その後の砕石術を見越した適切なドレナージ法の選択が肝要である．
