▶ポイント

・睡眠時無呼吸症候群は，夜間多尿から夜間頻尿を引き起こす．男性が女性の3倍の罹患率である．

・夜間多尿の成因としては，①無呼吸による胸腔内陰圧の増強に伴い静脈還流が一過性に増加，見かけ上の右心負荷による心房性利尿ペプチドの分泌増加，②アシドーシスによる交感神経刺激，③低酸素による腎尿細管での尿，ナトリウムの再吸収障害が考えられる．

・治療には，持続陽圧呼吸療法（CPAP）が有効であるが，アドヒアランスが問題となる．
