絶対に見逃してはいけないポイント
☞せん妄の治療には抗精神病薬が必要だが，安全性には問題があり注意が必要である．
☞せん妄の多くは不眠が関わるうえ，通常の睡眠導入剤・精神安定剤はむしろせん妄を引き起こす要因になる．
☞ベンゾジアゼピン系睡眠薬・抗不安薬をはじめとしたGABA作用薬がせん妄の要因になりうる．
☞ベンゾジアゼピン系を避けたつもりで，非ベンゾジアゼピン系と呼ばれるゾルピデムなどのZ薬を選んでしまう可能性があるが，これはGABA作用薬であるため，ベンゾジアゼピンと本質的には変わりなく，処方を避ける必要がある．
☞Z薬以外にも，エチゾラム・ブロチゾラムも厳密にはベンゾジアゼピン骨格を有しないが，作用はベンゾジアゼピンと同様であり，これらも避ける必要がある．
