▶ポイント

・前立腺肥大症（BPH）に対するα₁遮断薬と5α還元酵素阻害薬の併用療法は，それぞれの単独療法に比べて治療効果が高いため，特に重症例の一次治療においては推奨される．

・併用療法から単独療法に移行する場合，基本的にはα₁遮断薬を中止すべきであるが，前立腺の小さな症例に関しては5α還元酵素阻害薬の中止も考慮する．

・特に大きな前立腺の症例に対しては，手術療法も視野に入れるべきである．
