代表的主訴

●尿勢低下を強く訴えている高齢男性．

●排尿に要する時間がとても長い男性．

Point
◉尿勢低下や排尿遷延を訴える高齢男性の場合，その原因として抑えておきたい疾患は前立腺肥大症であるが，泌尿器科医としては，前立腺肥大症以外に低活動膀胱や膀胱容量の減少，尿道狭窄も念頭に置いておきたい．
◉上記の疾患は治療方法が異なるので，鑑別するための検査が必要である．
