▶ポイント

・前立腺肥大症（BPH）手術後の尿道狭窄は，亀頭部尿道，陰茎陰囊境界部，近位球部尿道，膀胱頸部に好発し，部位により治療法が異なる．

・内尿道切開や尿道ブジーなど経尿道的治療の効果はきわめて限定的であり，根本的な解決には開放手術による尿道形成術が必要である．

・患者とのトラブルを防ぐため，BPHの手術適応を厳格にし，術後に尿道狭窄が起こりうることを術前に十分説明しておくことが肝要である．
