▶ポイント

・ドセタキセルは転移性去勢抵抗性前立腺癌（mCRPC）患者の全生存期間（OS）改善効果を最初に示した薬剤である．

・カバジタキセルはドセタキセルに増悪を認めたmCRPC患者のOS改善効果を示したのに続き，新規アンドロゲン受容体シグナル伝達阻害薬およびドセタキセルのいずれにも抵抗性を示したmCRPC患者のOS改善効果も示した．

・mCRPCの逐次治療において三次治療までにカバジタキセルを導入することが，予後改善のポイントである．
