▶ポイント

・新生児や乳児の排尿は膀胱の伸展に伴って反射性に誘発されると考えられていたが，今日では機能的な橋―脊髄経路を介して排尿が起こることが判明している．

・排尿量，膀胱容量は年齢とともに増加し，排尿頻度，残尿，排尿中断回数は年齢とともに減少する．

・新生児や乳児では下部尿路機能が成熟過程にあり，正常・異常の区別が明確に確立されていないため，検査の解釈には注意が必要である．
