PGE₁陰茎海綿体注射の位置づけ―これまでとこれから

▶ポイント

・ED診療ガイドラインにおいてEDに対する第二選択治療としてプロスタグランジンE₁（PGE₁）陰茎海面体注射が記載されており，日本性機能学会主導の多施設共同研究においてPGE₁陰茎海綿体自己注射の長期的な有効性と安全性が示されている．

・日本におけるPGE₁陰茎海綿体注射の位置づけとして，現時点では診断の目的に限った使用が保険適応を有しており，治療目的での承認は得られていないのが実状である．

・PGE₁陰茎海綿体注射は，EDに悩むカップルのおおいなる福音となることに加え，日本における社会問題の1つである少子高齢化対策に一定の役割を担う可能性が期待できる．
