尿管ステント閉塞をどう防ぐ？

▶ポイント

・尿管ステントの閉塞予防には，留置期間を短縮するのが有効であり，留置しない選択肢も検討する．またforgotten stentにならないように患者側にインフォームド・コンセントが重要である．

・石灰化が少ない尿管ステントの材料はシリコンである．

・側孔の有無による石灰化の頻度は不明であり，側孔ありのステントで閉塞した場合には，側孔なしを使用するのも選択肢と思われる．
