排尿日誌が必要な前立腺肥大症とは？

▶ポイント

・前立腺肥大症患者の下部尿路症状のなかで，夜間頻尿は最も改善しにくい．

・夜間頻尿を伴う前立腺肥大症患者には排尿日誌が欠かせない．

・排尿日誌から，昼間頻尿，夜間頻尿，全日多尿，機能的膀胱容量低下の評価，夜間多尿指数，夜間膀胱容量指数などの算出が可能であり，適切な病態評価・治療につながる．
