E．会陰部操作（perineal procedure）
　肛門を巾着縫合でしっかり閉じた。
　　The anus was sealed (closed) securely by a purse-string suture．
　紡錘型の皮膚切開を閉じた肛門の周りに加えて，肛門挙筋まで進み，下直腸動静脈を結紮しながら，それを電気メスで切断していった。
　　A spindle-shaped incision was made around the closed anal orifice and proceededthrough the subcutaneous tissue to the Ievator ani muscles, which were divided byelectro-coagulator with ligating the inferior rectal vessels.
