はじめに

　食道癌の治療方法は，内視鏡的粘膜切除（以下，EMR），外科的切除，化学放射線治療など選択肢が多様化する一方で，適応の境界が曖昧になってきている．また，この情報化社会にあっても治療方針には施設間に微妙な差が存在する．

　本稿では，われわれが経験と文献的考察^1）に基づいて徐々に改善してきた現時点での食道癌に対する治療方法について述べる．
