SSIの術前の予防と対策

要旨：手術部位感染（surgical site infection：SSI）は院内感染の1つで，アメリカのNNIS（National Nosocomial Infections Surveillance System）の最近の報告によれば尿路感染に次いで2番目に多く発症している．

　SSIを防止することは手術を受ける人々にとって術後順調に経過し，早期に社会復帰できることが最大のメリットと考えられ，また在院日数も短縮され経済効果もあり，今後の医療において必要不可欠である．ここでは特に術前のSSI対策について述べる．
