センチネルリンパ節生検のガイドライン

要旨：ガイドラインは，臨床医が実地診療の方針を立てる際に，膨大な文献に当たらずとも，あるいは臨床経験が乏しくても，最善の医療を行ううえで参考となる指針である．質の高い臨床試験からエビデンスが蓄積されている分野では質の高いガイドラインが作成可能である．しかし，単施設の臨床研究が多い分野では質の高いガイドラインは作成できない．ただし，日進月歩の医療現場のニーズに呼応するためにガイドラインが必要とされる場合もある．乳癌におけるセンチネルリンパ節生検のガイドラインは，現時点では後者に分類される．海外におけるガイドラインの紹介とsentinel node navigation surgery（SNNS）研究会のガイドラインについて概説する．
