鼠径部ヘルニアに対するメッシュ法の種類とその適応

文献概要

要旨：1962年にUsherらがポリプロピレンを修復に用いて以来，現在までヘルニア修復術にポリプロピレンが広く用いられている．1970年代初めにpolypropylene meshをヘルニア手術に積極的に導入し，“tension-free repair”という概念を提唱したLichtenstein以来，さまざまな種類のメッシュが開発され現在に至っている．現在主に行われているメッシュ法としては，①Lichtenstein法，②mesh plug法，③Kugel法，④TAPP法，⑤TEPP法，⑥PHS法，⑦direct Kugel法がある．いずれの方法で行うにせよ，ヘルニア手術の歴史，鼠径部の臨床解剖，さまざまな合併症についての文献に目を通し，症例を丁寧に積み重ねる努力が求められている．
