乳癌の予後予測因子―The Nottingham prognostic index

要旨：乳癌患者の予後予測因子としては古くから腫瘍径，リンパ節転移数，組織学的グレードなどが用いられ，それら因子の組み合わせによるNottingham prognostic index（NPI）というスコアが代表的である．現在は遺伝子プロファイルによる治療効果予測および予後予測の研究が盛んであるが，コストや検査の簡便性などを考慮すると，NPIはいまだ実地臨床に有用な指標として評価されている．本稿では，NPIを中心に予後予測ツールの実地臨床への活用について述べる．
