直腸癌に対する化学放射線療法―最近の動向

文献概要

要旨：直腸癌に対する放射線療法は術後の局所再発率を低下させることが示されている．また，化学放射線療法は放射線単独療法に比べて，より局所再発率を低下させると報告されている．一方，生存率に対する放射線療法の効果に関しては，効果があるとするもの，否定的なものと報告によって異なる．術前照射後の術後補助化学療法の有無に関しては，照射効果の高い症例に限った検討では術後補助化学療法を行ったほうが生存率が向上すると報告されている．また，わが国で行われている側方郭清と術後化学放射線療法とを比較した近年の検討では，術後化学放射線療法のほうが局所再発率を低下させるためにより有用であると報告されている．
