膵癌におけるPET検査の有用性と問題点

要旨：急速な症例数の増加をみせているFDG-PET検査であるが，日常診療のうえで万能な画像検査ではないことを理解する必要がある．膵癌診療ではスクリーニングから術後のフォローアップまで様々な状況下でFDG-PET検査の有用性が報告されているが，一方で多くの問題点が明らかになってきている．FDG-PETではTS1膵癌のような小病変の検出は難しく，スクリーニングには向かないと考えられる．しかし，術前の遠隔転移診断や再発診断については効果的と考えられる．さらに，予後予測因子としての有用性も報告されている．また，新しいトレーサーの開発など今後の展開が期待される．
