【ポイント】

◆肝癌の術中病理診断の適応として，①腫瘍の質的診断，②切除断端の良悪性，③リンパ節転移の有無，④背景肝の障害度診断，が挙げられる．

◆腫瘍針生検診断の限界と合併症を把握すべきである．肝癌切除前診断の基本は画像診断であり，術中病理診断に頼りすぎない．

◆肝障害患者に生じうる病変，特に一連のシークエンスであると考えられている早期肝細胞癌，高度異型結節，軽度異型結節の画像的ならびに組織学的特徴を把握する．
