【ポイント】

◆グレリンは主に胃から分泌されるホルモンで，成長ホルモン分泌だけでなく，摂食促進，体重増加などの作用が報告されている．

◆上部消化管術後患者へのグレリン投与は食欲や摂取量を増加させるのみならず，除脂肪体重を維持しつつ体重減少を抑える効果がある．

◆グレリンは，上部消化管外科領域における術後栄養療法のキーホルモンであり，臨床応用が期待される．
