【ポイント】

◆小児のIBDは成人より病変範囲が広範囲で重症のことが多く，発症後も重症化しやすい．

◆新規の免疫調節薬や生物製剤がIBD治療に導入されているが，投与に際しては従来の治療に抵抗する例を対象とし，これらの薬物の発症初期からの安易な投与は推奨されない．

◆小児IBDの外科治療は本人だけでなく，保護者にとっても受容が困難なことが多く，外科治療が遅れる傾向にある．
