◆手術手技や周術期管理の向上によって肝門部胆管癌術後の合併症発症率は43～49％，在院死亡率は2～8％となった．

◆肝門部胆管癌術後の5年生存率は33～42％，根治切除が可能であったR0切除率は56～87％である．

◆肝門部胆管癌でR0切除が可能であったものの，リンパ節転移陽性例の5年生存率は21％であり，術後補助化学療法の効果が待たれるところである．
