◆通常型膵癌切除症例の年代別生存率は2001年以降の症例の1年生存率が63.6％，生存期間中央値が18.2か月と2000年以前と比較して有意に改善している．

◆わが国では積極的に拡大切除が行われてきたが，4編のRCTすべてが拡大郭清による生存期間延長効果はなく，うち2編の下痢の頻度は拡大郭清で42％，48％ときわめて高頻度であった．

◆塩酸ゲムシタビンの補助化学療法としての有用性はCONKO-001試験，JSAP-02試験で報告された．
