「グラスゴー予後スコア」(Glasgow prognostic score:GPS)は,血液検査で決まる予後スコアである.がんの予後因子には,腫瘍径・深達度・組織型・脈管侵襲・リンパ節転移・遠隔転移・切除断端・治癒度などがあり,そのために外科医は標本整理や病理診断を大切にしているのに,がん患者の予後が血液検査だけでわかるのだろうか.
