【ポイント】

◆呼吸器外科領域におけるデータベース事業には，全国肺癌登録事業と肺移植レジストリーがあり，日本の呼吸器外科診療の実績を国内外に発信している．

◆呼吸器外科手術のNCD登録は，現在は共通部分の基本的統計調査のみ参加しているが，今後，呼吸器外科専門医制度の認定・更新にNCDの症例登録を利用する方向で検討されている．

◆NCD登録により，肺癌登録事業の進歩，他疾患のデータベースの確立，臨床研究への応用など，呼吸器外科領域の発展につながる制度確立を期待したい．
