【ポイント】

◆現在行われている胃癌定型手術の原型は19世紀に考案された．リンパ節郭清は20世紀前半に提唱された．

◆周術期管理，手術器具，デバイスの進歩・発達，腹腔鏡下手術などの導入によって手術成績は向上している．

◆今後は，より繊細な転移診断法などの導入によって胃温存が可能になると思われる．また，それが目指すゴールでもある．
