閉塞性大腸がん―腸閉塞にステントは有用か

素朴な疑問

　腸閉塞で発症した大腸がんは，糞便の貯留や腸管壁の浮腫があり，緊急手術で腸管吻合を行うのは危険である．以前は病巣切除と腸管吻合を別の日に行う二期的手術が主流であったが，最近は内視鏡下ステントで腸管を減圧したあと一期的に切除と再建を行う方法がある．緊急手術は不要になるのだろうか．ステント挿入にトラブルはないだろうか．
