直腸がんの手術―ストーマはQOLがわるいか

素朴な疑問

　直腸がんの手術で人工肛門（ストーマ）になると生活に不便を感じるが（身体障害4級），低位前方切除で肛門を温存しても，排便困難・失禁・残便・頻回便・夜間排便・便ガス識別能低下などの排便障害によって社会生活が制限されることがある．直腸切断は前方切除より劣った手術だろうか．直腸切断は前方切除に比べてQOLが低いのだろうか．
