【ポイント】

◆直腸・肛門管癌に対する局所切除や化学放射線療法後の病巣遺残・再発に対する根治手術をサルベージ手術と呼ぶ．

◆切除不能局所進行・再発直腸癌が化学（放射線）療法により切除可能となった場合の根治手術をコンバージョン手術と呼ぶ．

◆いずれの手術も高侵襲・高難易度となることが少なくないため，十分な経験と患者・家族の十分な理解が必須である．
