【ポイント】

◆術前補助化学放射線治療の治療成績の向上は，わが国の外科治療の良好な手術成績と合わせ予後の延長に期待できる治療である．

◆術前補助放射線治療は遠隔成績の延長には寄与せず，手術が困難な症例に対して，術前照射を個別に行っている現状がある．

◆術後補助放射線治療も遠隔成績の延長には寄与せず，遺残症例に対してのみ行われる場合がある．
