【ポイント】

◆術後出血時の対処法は保存的治療，動脈塞栓術，再手術があるが，生命に直結する術後出血には速やかな対応が必要であり，迅速性の観点からは再手術がもっとも優れている．

◆出血の時期と原因により選択肢が異なる．術後早期の出血は手術操作に起因するものが多く，バイタルサインが不安定な場合は再手術を含めた侵襲的な処置が通常必要となる．術後後期の出血は手術以外の方法を選択できる場合が多い．感染・消化液による動脈の破綻では，バイタルサインの維持が叶えば手術侵襲と難易度を考慮して動脈塞栓術を優先する．
