【ポイント】
◆近年の診断技術，治療技術の向上により，がん治療後の生存率は年々高くなっており，それに伴い同時性，あるいは異時性の重複がんと診断される人の数が増えている．
◆重複がんの要因には様々なものがあり，それらが互いに影響しあって重複がんを引き起こすと考えられている．
◆重複がんの発生については未知の部分も多く，今後，その疫学的，分子生物学的研究をはじめ，様々な分野におけるさらなる研究が必要になると思われる．
