【ポイント】
◆食道癌における緩和手術・処置の目的は，狭窄症状や瘻孔の改善による症状の緩和とQOLの維持，重篤な合併症の回避である．
◆食道ステントは低侵襲かつ早期の経口摂取が可能であり，第1選択とされる場合が多い．
◆バイパス手術は姑息的治療としては非常に侵襲の高い治療法であり，合併症の発生率も高率で，適応は限られてきている．
