【ポイント】
◆直腸指診で直腸瘤を疑うことは容易であるが，無症状のものから種々の症状を伴うものまであり，その病態は単純ではない．
◆直腸性便秘（ODS）を伴う症例は治療の対象となる．
◆瘤の縫縮と挙筋縫縮による直腸腟中隔の補強が一般的な術式であるが，近年TVM，STARR，ventral rectopexyなども注目されている．
